Your adventure begins at the heliport in Albany, Auckland, where you&rsquo;ll board a helicopter and take to the skies over the stunning Hauraki Gulf and its surrounding islands. Enjoy incredible views of the coastline and island scenery below, with the chance to spot dolphins, whales and stingrays along the way.

You&rsquo;ll fly to one of the chosen remote fishing spots around Great Barrier Island or the Coromandel coastline &mdash; places you can only access by helicopter. Once you land, your pilot will stay with you throughout the experience, helping you get set up for a memorable day of fishing.

There&rsquo;s no need to bring your own fishing gear, as all the equipment is provided, including quality spinning reels, 10ft graphite rods, tackle and bait. Your pilot will also show you how to use the equipment, so you can get your line in the water and try your luck at catching local favourites such as snapper, kahawai and kingfish.

With approximately four hours of fishing time, there&rsquo;s plenty of opportunity to enjoy the remote setting and see what you can reel in. A fisherman&rsquo;s lunch and bottled water are included, and you&rsquo;re welcome to bring your own extra refreshments too.

Once your fishing time wraps up, you&rsquo;ll hop back aboard the helicopter and enjoy another scenic flight to the Albany base, with your catch coming along for the ride.
