Refunds

	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">General admission tickets are non refundable but remain valid for use within 12 months from the original purchase date.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Refund requests for pre booked experiences must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time and must be requested via email.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Failure to attend a booked experience will result in the full charge being applied.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">If a booking is cancelled by the International Antarctic Centre due to weather or safety reasons, a refund will be issued to the original purchaser.</li>

Yes! For visitors travelling to and from Christchurch airport or anyone with excess baggage, we are happy store luggage on-site, free of charge.

You do not need to travel to Antarctica to experience what it is like. Visit one of New Zealand&rsquo;s top attractions, the International Antarctic Centre, and enjoy a fun and interactive experience suitable for all ages.

Feel the chill of a simulated Antarctic summer storm where temperatures drop to minus 18 degrees Celsius. Take part in the polar plunge ice water challenge, learn about daily life in modern Antarctica and Scott Base, and see rescued Kororā Little Blue Penguins. Enjoy the exciting H&auml;gglund ride and a realistic 4D cruise through the Antarctic Peninsula. Children must be at least 1.2 metres tall to ride the H&auml;gglund, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you would like food or drinks, there is an on-site cafe offering a range of meals and beverages, including options for different dietary needs. A gift shop is also available where you can buy souvenirs to remember your visit. All purchases are at your own expense.

Bookings

	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Bookings are only required for selected experiences with limited capacity. General entry to the International Antarctic Centre does not require a booking.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Advance bookings are strongly recommended to ensure availability and avoid disappointment.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">All bookings are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and charged at the time of booking or cancellation.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Child pricing applies to children aged 5 to 15 years when travelling with a paying adult. Children under 5 years enter free of charge. Guests aged 16 years and over are charged at the adult rate.</li>

Health and Safety

	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">All visitors enter at their own risk and are expected to take care at all times. The International Antarctic Centre is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage that may occur during the visit.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">The centre may close areas, change experiences, or remove animals from display at any time for safety or animal welfare reasons. No compensation will be provided for these changes.</li>

H&auml;gglund Field Trip

	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Guests under 120 centimetres in height are not permitted to ride for safety reasons.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Guests who are pregnant or who have back, neck, or heart conditions are not permitted to ride.</li>

General Conditions

	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Children aged 15 years and under must be supervised at all times by a responsible person aged 16 years or older.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">The International Antarctic Centre is a smoke free venue.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Pets are not allowed. Certified guide dogs, assistance animals, and emotional support animals are permitted, but at least 48 hours&rsquo; notice must be given by email to follow required procedures.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Visitors must park responsibly. The International Antarctic Centre accepts no liability for loss or damage related to parking.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">The centre reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest who behaves inappropriately or does not follow staff instructions or signage.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Commercial or fundraising activities are not allowed on site without written permission.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">If liability is attributed to the International Antarctic Centre, any compensation will be limited to the amount paid for admission or the relevant booking.</li>
	<li style="margin-bottom: 11px;">Photography and filming may take place within the attraction. Please inform staff if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.</li>
